It is the code QP, I suspect these will be under retail soon enough. Only took a year or so for the last gen code QP to be at 40%+ discount to retail. I look forward to that happening on these, might just pick one up, love it just not at 120k msrp w/ tax.

So it's just the standard version.

Does anyone think the 150th scripted version will at least stay at retail in the long run? How are the non-jumbo 50th-anniversary ROs doing now?

Did you even bother to check what this is? I'm fairly sure the people who spend 715kCHF on one of these know what they want.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Appreciate your feedback and I'm sure that you're right in how good these look in the flesh.

Hope to be able to see them in the UK at some point soon as well.

This 2025 white ceramic skelly just hit moda for the incredibly low price of $750k

Truly spectacular, looks much better than the stock photo IMO. Disappointed AP didn't do a better job of allocating these, only 1 of 30 should not be resold so quickly and enjoyed by more appreciative collectors of the brand.

The cynic in me thinks they like having one "slip out" at an astronomical price to feed the hype.

When these limited pieces appear on the secondary market so quickly are these collectors just deciding it's finally time to end their relationship with AP and recoup their money?

Trying to understand the logic.

I contemplated that but the purchase history required to acquire one of these I assume would be astronomical and therefore I can't imagine someone of that wealth would be willing to get blacklisted for a few hundred thousand that likely is meaningless to them. Can't fathom an AD would risk getting caught selling this through the backdoor to make extra money either.

Must be a famous celebrity that has no repercussions if they sell, a similar stature to a JM or equivalent. Dear AP, I will be your JM and promise not to sell :)

Within my own business I predominantly deal with HNWI folk. Even they, who really don’t need it, love a hit of “free” money when the opportunity presents itself.

Like you I also despair when super hard allocations get flipped, never mind just the hard allocations that a humble collector like me would hope to ever be allocated.

In the UK, I know that footballers get a free pass when it comes to flipping watches—and I imagine the same likely applies to those in the music industry. It feels inherently unfair that the rest of us, who actually have to recycle funds to continue collecting, live in fear of being blacklisted for moving on a watch after two or three years.

The whole Tom Brady situation left a particularly sour taste for me. He collaborates on a piece unique, and it ends up being sold just months later. I'm fully aware of Tom Brady's fortune and fame, also that it was probably a PR excersice. I just thought it was sticking two fingers up to ordinary people like me that collect from the brand.

Wasn't this watch designed through one of the "create the extraordinary" events? Potentially someone invited to the event that didn't love the final design the group decided on?

Wrist Afficionado and Timepiece Trading had one for sale with real photos. Wonder if there are 3 floating around or one being passed around.

Regardless totally agree with your sentiment.

I also saw this piece on IG, absolutely stunning. Jade dial, BMG mid case

I personally don't get too upset about pieces like this white DB hitting the market. As mentioned, it adds value to the brand, and I wasn't getting one either way..lol.

I guess if you want access to these types of watches, be rich AND famous.

What frustrates me is not having easier access to the high end pieces that don't have a grey market premium, like the QP.

TPT only sells their own inventory, same with Wrist Afficionado. There is another guy in NY selling one also. All with different pics.

It is funny to see how many of these guys on IG and moda are just flippers who barely try. They use the same pics and everyone has a different margin in their advertised pricing. Some watches will have $50k price spread depending on who you end up buying from

Couldn’t agree anymore.

Two tier standards don’t sit well with me at all and can’t see a defence for that.

Ed is the guy with most AP unique pieces and this one is insane. Olive green fume dial Jumbo with media control symbols as indices... would love to see this color in regular production with standard hour markings...

Whoa. I think it looks pretty cool/unique. I wonder if it’s SS or PM.
