Anyone own a 70s Captain Willard 6105?

I am looking for a nice vintage Seiko, and the Willard has really caught my attention. I see some of them on Ebay, not really sure what to watch out for. For any of you owners, could you share your experience? Issues? Please post pics!

I was hoping this thread would have some activity, as I would like to see some photos as well.

I do have a couple of the reissue pieces. Not what you were asking about I know, but fun pieces nonetheless and maybe the bump will get us some action with the real thing.

I have a lot of Seiko's and my Turtles/Willards are some of my favorites. I have tried to play with vintage Seiko's and they are typically a disappointment for me. Typically they are not as robust as I would desire for daily wear and activities and the service costs/times/technicians are at best, challenging in my experience. With so many modern Seiko Willard's on the market save yourself the trouble/time/money and pick one up. The SLA033 is the remake of the original Willard and is a very cool watch. The prices have adjusted downward recently and I have not be disappointed in mine. The SPB line-up is also nice and more accessible by price. So many choices. Good luck.
