GMTIIc timekeeping skills!

Well i got my new GMT on my wrist on the 4th September. Since then, i have been anally timing it against my Sky+ HD box clock. LOL
In two weeks it has lost 5 secs which i think is pretty good. The weird thing is, I have been checking it almost every day in the two weeks! Why? What am i doing? Hahaha. I keep bloody checking it like it going to stop or something.

I can assure there is only need to check your watch against a reliable time source such as a quartz or radio controlled perhaps once a week.And then if necessary reset I am sure a few seconds either way will not matter that much.And all Rolex movements since
the 15XX 40 years ago have shown remarkable accuracy thats why they are called chronometers.

I have never really been one to worry too much about +/- seconds per day....i understand all the variables that these little mechanical marvels have to deal with in day to day life.....temperature, shocks, position...etc etc

But I found this amazing....

I recently purchased a Casio Edifice Atomic watch. Updates from atomic clocks 5 times a day.....accurate to about 1 sec a year I think it was.
Anyhow I decided to put my TT GMT IIC to the test to track time, using the Casio as the zero reference.

I was amazed at finding my GMT over the course of 5 days was only 1 second behind the Casio.....AMAZING

It's always great to check a new watch and understand exactly how it keeps time...


But you get over it.........
