Just sharing.....quick watch tour

Well my friends, back from another trip and sharing some pics. This time I did not take the travel images (planes, airports) so I will just go straight to the point. Please remember that I am not a photographer, so pics are not that good.

Destination: New York!

First, some pics to get you in the mood....a beautiful skyline with its bridges

...this place is home to quite a number of boutiques and crazy stores....just getting into Apple on 5th was a HUGE task!

but gave me some time to look around. Some stops (pics not allowed inside) included Piaget

Panerai

Omega

Davidoff

....and MOTHERSHIP NY!!!!!!

One of many musts is WEMPE, where the display was impressive, huge stock! And yes, DJII was here!!

Pics were not allowed inside WEMPE nor Tourneau, where I confirmed what has been posted here: Got a very warm WELCOME from the staff at the entrance and then.....sales people just talking to themselves! No interest whatsoever in customers!!!!

Well, I hope you enjoyed this quick tour; I just came home and have a pile of e-mails to answer, plus prepare next week's trip.

Saludos my friends!!!!

....after waiting 30 minutes to get into the Marquis, attending sold out theater events, waiting 45 minutes to get into Abercrombie, waiting 3 days for a Genius appointment @ Apple and looking at the people, I only have ONE question:

WHAT CRISIS DOES EVERYONE REFER TO?!??!?!??!?

Icon14 Thanks!

That's one place I'll never see in person, on purpose, so thanks for the pics.

The Burgh feels crowded enough, and there ain't nearly as many people here!

Great pics Gerardo. We have been wanting to go to NY for ages. We live close enough and would go by train. Maybe seeing your shots here will get me going.

Thanks for the pics, we spent a week there in July for my b-day and our anniversary. We love the place and can't wait to go back. My wife has never seen snow so maybe this winter.

...been there in January...NOT fun! It is ok in November, but Jan/Feb is a nightmare, way too cold for me!

Lovely photos G. You are indeed a well travelled fellow.

If ever you land near me be sure to let me know and we can take the ''Newmans'' out for a spot of lunch.

That pic of the merchandise at the mother ship gave me my first ever urge to commit a "smash and grab!
