Received a DM from a User named Exceeder, he wanted me to DM him, i did send a DM and by looking at this answer i got a bad feeling, the "link" he sent me looks like rolexforum but as you see its akhabaar.in ( scampage? ) to make us think its the real, login and by that giving away the login's. Am i right?

Confirming scammer “exceeder” will try and phish you and attempt credential harvest at this fake rolex forum website hosted in India. This just occurred yesterday/today. BEWARE.

Hear Hear! To not get banned I will withhold my comments on how I really feel about scammers, but people that specifically pray on the elderly and other less-internet savvy individuals deserve a special place in Hell.

Although I didn't click all the way thru, and did not provide any login info, I clearly let my guard down because his account here on the forums does not take direct messages and instead he asks to communicate by email.

In the past, I'd often default back to email or text because they're familiar... but I'm increasingly seeing the security advantage of keeping all correspondence on the same app / site / forum where it originated. Of course this can result in us having many more apps all wanting to message us depending on our activity and buy/sell activity. The joys of modern technology.
