FS: Vintage Patek Philippe “AW” 18k WHITE GOLD 14mm Buckle

On offer here I have a genuine vintage 18k white gold Patek Philippe buckle in classic flat style with 14mm inner width. I believe this buckle dates to circa 1950s-60s, a golden era for Patek. This buckle is double-signed "PP Co." and “AW” on the underside, the latter being the actual manufacturer of the buckle and a famed one at that. “AW” buckles are often found without any other signatures on the mid century watches of the elite Big 3 -- Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe -- as well as other fine brands such as Omega. This uncommon Patek "AW" buckle is suitable for a variety of classic vintage Patek models in white gold like Calatravas, chronographs and complications.

This elegant solid gold buckle is in Very Good overall vintage condition, with some signs of wear and age but no major defects. All the period correct nomenclature & hallmarks on the underside are crisp and easily legible.
