Is Base Logo 1087 White Dial a Sandwich Dial?

Hi all, I know all the other base logos (black and blue dials) are definitely applied markers, but the white 1087 is different. It looks like a variation of the sandwich dial, but not a true sandwich. The cutout doesn't look as deep as it should be.

I found a dealer online describe it as "This is a hallowed single layer disc filled with super luminova". Hoping one of you forum Panerai experts can shed some insight. I'll try to post an online photo later. Thank you!

Not the best picture but I think it shows what I mean. Not applied on top of dial. But doesn’t quite have the depth of a true sandwich with two layers.

Is it just a cutout, then filled with lume? If so, does Panerai have a name for this type of dial? Thank you!

It does look like it, weird that the web site isn’t more specific.

I thought I read somewhere that these dials weren’t true “sandwich” dials but rather carved dials with filled lume? Not sure…

That’s indeed what it looks like in the picture above.
