Your favorite Daytona reference?

I have three and would like to consolidate to one. I am not sure which one. I know the hipe around the Platinum with sky blue but personally I don’t like that color for my watch dial. I would love platinum on another dial color. I don’t mind keeping my WG ref and sell the other two. Confused . Would love to hear what people on TRF have to say

I'd sell the two tone and keep the WG and panda personally

Not a huge fan of the Daytona got to be the most hyped Rolex watch ever. But prefer the TT Daytona range mainly because many dial options over the SS, speaking of SS prefer the Zenith dial over the 4130 in-house.

Very difficult to decide between the SS and WG Daytonas. For me the TT would be a goner. Between the other two it‘s a toss up. I think the WG is really good looking and the white dial SS is a modern classic. If there can really be only one I‘d stick with the SS. Or maybe consider letting go of all three to get a black dial 126500LN.

I need a ceramic bezel on my Daytona and metal bracelet so I would keep your SS and sell the others. It will age better long term.

6263
everything is so balanced, legible and perfect.
No doubt that the zenith to current ceramic Daytonas in steel are probably the sweet spot for wearability and durability. The 6263 and 6265 have a lot of charm and character, just not very practical.

I prefer steel to gold or Pt. Far lighter and more comfortable.

Seems like two different questions. Player's choice it is! My favorite out of all Daytona references... my 116500LN Panda for sentimental reasons; otherwise YG Le Mans because I'm a sugar daddy-wanting hype boy.

6263 silver dial for vintage

And for modern, the 126519 meteorite

Don’t make me choose between the two.

It would be the 6263 "Paul Newman" Daytona. The exotic dial with it's art-deco subdials is legendary, and it basically define the watch as an icon.

I'd keep the WG reference and sell the other 2. PM is more special than SS or two tone.

116528.

The look of a 4-digit, the build-quality of a 6-digit.

The 126519 meteorite models are my favorite overall, but of your three, I would keep the 126500LN

I love Daytonas. My favorite would have to be the 116508 with the black dial and gold subdials (Paul Newman or John Player Special, depending on who you ask).

6263/6265 Big Red for vintage.
126529LN for modern Daytona.

Keep the panda if you have a bunch of other black dial watches. Otherwise, keep the WG.

The consensus is…..each seems to be someone’s favorite so only you can be the judge of what you like best. I like a lot of them, have had four or five, currently have zero. I’m sure I’ll get another but not sure what I like the best. Lots of great options!

Any of the Lemans references hands down, and then the meteorite right after. As far as more standard client watches, SS daytona and the 126519 126515 black dial / steel/ghost dials for sure.

There’s only one correct answer. The one that started the hype. The one you buy to buy the hype. The one that makes you hyped every time you wear it. This one:
