FP Journe New York Boutique

Curious what anyone else has experienced when trying to make an appointment at the New York Boutique. I tried to make an appointment for a month out and was told they didn’t have any availability for four months.

That’s wild. I used to just stroll in. Same at Beverly Hills boutique, where I met a Journe brother. Success breeds unfamiliarity.

Yea, I am a bit miffed. I don’t live near NY, LA, or Miami so not easy to plan. I guess the journey stops before it even gets started.

I remember when the Bleu was easily obtainable. I am on the waiting list for at least seven years. I think that list is with my Daytona list in the circular file.

Make your appointment for four months out and enjoy the wait.

LOL. I called and got an appointment same-day but couldn't make it as I had to return some videotapes.

Well it could be worse. You could make the trip, have a nice visit, and then never hear from them again.

They just lost a sales associate so they're way behind.

They've got thousands of wishlists for two SAs right now.

I think creating the restaurant might have been a distraction to the brand. It would have been better if they focused on the stores and making the experience better all around. Not sure but maybe it's related to the employees (specifically SAs) churning, especially from the NY boutique.

You should know it is a process with Journe where eventually you get on a guest list and will be invited to functions now and then. How long you have to do that before they discuss an allocation with you is the thing. People have stated they fell off the invite list and are not sure why. The problem with Journe is they have a very low production and out of that a small number come to the US where literally thousands of people line up for a few hundred watches each year.

I remember when you could walk into the Journe boutique on Madison Avenue in NYC and buy anything out of the case. They usually had about 10 watches on display for immediate sale.

Pre 2016 - you could almost do that with any brand to be honest.

AP 15202 was there for the taking
Aquanauts were plentiful - you like maybe had to wait a month or two for Nautilus
Wait a month or two for SS Daytona

Times are different now
