Actually, this is not the case for the large diving watches.

The size of the watch cases vs. the size of the dial on these is interesting.
The case sizes go up with the YM at 42mm, the Seadweller at 43mm and the Deepsea at 44mm. However the dial size goes down with the Yachmaster being the largest at 32mm, the SeaDweller with a dial size of 30mm and the Deepsea the smallest at 28mm. I looked at the Deepsea Challenge yesterday and with it's 50mm case it has a 29mm dial at the most. This is all completely understandable due to the increase in each watch in depth capability.

I agree but the Explorer II is another exception.

When changing or adding a link use caution, they have the Rolex ceramic sleeves around the pin and if you are not careful you might loose one.

Which is exactly what I did - looked everywhere for that little ceramic tube... Had to get the Rolex service centre to give me a new one - which came from Geneva (for free) because the Day Date ones they had are a different size.

Got mine from DavidSW after breaking my leg and having a titanium rod put in my bone from hip to knee. My WG sub is in the winder. Talk about opposite ends of the spectrum on weight. Both are works of art. Looking forward to going to back and forth.

Great insight, thank you! I don't have a Rolex which requires a sleeve, but hopefully when I do, this is good to know!

Someone posted a Tudor comment where Tudor won’t refinish (Polish) a 39mm pelagos in titanium. Does anyone know of it’s the same with big brother.
