Feedback on my next Rolex

Any feedback or thoughts appreciated. Everything on my AD wishlist is in the really difficult to get category(Pepsi, Steel Daytona, Land Dweller, Sky Dweller blue/green), but I think these are the two I’m going to prioritize. Any thoughts on the fit for my wrist?

Should add that my current collection includes a 116509LN Black Racing Dial, 126610LV and a 126713GRNR

I wish I could get a blue SD at MSRP! It would be gone! Going grey next year.

Sky is a bit too big for your wrist.
LD seems a better fit and sits better on your wrist.

I’d go SkyD blue - I think you can pull it off.

A wrist shot like this always makes it look bigger but the SkyD is an easy to wear watch due to the shape of the case.
It would be my preferred choice

The SkyDweller is a nicer watch, and you can definitely pull off the size.
I tried one on, and could wear it, if so inclined. (I prefer smaller watches), though I do want a Sub and a BLNR next. My wrist is definitely smaller than yours.

I would rather have any of the three you have over either of these, so, since you hesitate, I would say neither.

Personally, if sticking to Rolex, given your great collection, I would aim for a Day-Date as the crown jewel. Four is a good number.

Based on your collection, the 2 watches you have prioritized seem the right choice. They both fit you large, but ok. The LD a little better than the SkyD. Good luck!

Feedback on my next Rolex

I appreciate the feedback! Yes, I have all of them on the my list. On the size, in person the Land Dweller 40 wears smaller than any watch I have other than the Daytona. The Sky Dweller is on the larger size, but I like it. My wrist is just under 7.5 inches. I would ask, for those that say it looks too big for my wrist, what size wrist would you need to pull it off? Also, I would then assume that most people who have the wrist would need extra links. Pretty much all of the men’s size models fit me out of box with no adjustment.

If you can wear most models with little to no adjustment, the sky dweller will 100 per cent fit and look good.
My sub has one link out, my explorer ii none an my datejust 41 oyster none. Daytona I think one link and my wrist is about same size.

I agree with earlier sentiments that they always look large(r) in photos.

Both are incredible. The LD is way ahead of the SD with new movement state of the art technology which over the next years may be expanded across the line. The Sky wears real big and is a big chunky watch. The LD is a much more elegant thin dress watch which you will not even know you have on.

Either works, it is up to you. If the LD is available at retail, I would take that one.

Depends on what you're going for, IMO. I think the Sky is more the classic Rolex look while the LD is a little more unique to the line up.

For me personally- Not a fan of the SkyD whatsoever. Between the two I’m going LD all day

Thank you all for the feedback! I really like them both and will probably just go with whatever comes first knowing this won't be my last Rolex. I originally intended this one to commemorate donating one of my kidneys in April, and though that the blue Sky Dweller or Pepsi would best as they have the blue and red representing the artery and vein in the kidney. I didn't even consider the LD until I saw it in person. I also just noticed that the Sky Dweller that I tried on yesterday(pictured) was set to my birthday! Coincidence? Maybe not!

If you are on the lists for everything you want they will all turn up in due course so I would be inclined to take them in whichever order they arrive. It will be a very nice collection.

That’s the approach I’m going to take. It’ll be fun to see what comes first.

You can definitely pull either one off. As to which one you should get, depends entirely on your preference. SkyD's not my cup of tea, however some people love it.

SkyD is it. The movement alone is in another league.

Hats off to you..both choices look great..really only you can answer if they fit your wrist..if you only showed one watch everyone would’ve loved it…but multiple choice will usually ruin your fun and excitement..

Haha, I am realizing that. I do like both and will keep them both on the list. If offered I’ll happily buy if any of the watches on my list. Everything left on my list is on the tough to procure side.
