5 days in Vegas from Europe, yes or no ??

Got a fantastic deal for 700$ round trip from Rome,Italy.

Leaving on november 12th and coming back on nov 18th. Consider that I would be there again for christmas like every year, but I go to Vegas every other november to see the Aviation Nation show wich I really love and I really want my wife to see.
It would be great to do some shopping before the sales goes off ( we never find enough stuff in december).
Should I go for this ?? The only drawback is the very long flight....15 hours in total with US Air via Philly...I'm an athlete and I can go thru this easily, wife is veru tired from work and I've promised her the best spa massage once we get there..

I love Vegas !!! I lived there for while too !!

I just came back from a week in Las Vegas, I would have loved it to be 5 days or shorter.

People don't realize how much walking you have to do, the hotels seem to get further apart the more you walk.

It's an interesting place to be for sure, but too much of it is dangerous! On the bright side, the Wynn has an AMAZING Rolex store (well, 3, but 1 main one).

3 days in Vegas is usually more than enough for me.!!!!
I would go see & do other things whilst in the US though...

Not worth the long flight, imo. I went twice on very short time spans, my Dad wasn't feeling well and I went with his ticket about two weeks after I was in Vegas for two weeks and came home. I did have much more fun and better site seeing the 2nd trip. I was thinking about going for the MLB playoffs, but the hotel rates were too expensive. Every now and then a good price comes up. But the flamingo was about 3 times what we paid for our last trip there. I may stay at the motel 6 if I go back again.

Usually if you book a trip or package, you can get the hotel rooms for almost nothing.

My friends stayed at the Wynn for just over $100 a night. Then they cleaned out the casino... Steve wasn't feeling like such a "Wynner" then

Try and go for a little longer and see California and the Grand Canyon too... You will get burned out in vegas for 5 days and it is too short a time for a 15 hour flight...

getto, if it's what you love, by all means do it. I can only take Vegas in small doses, but there's tons to do.

15 hour flight is a killer for me. I hate to fly. I will drive 20 hours before I will fly. The new rules and regs and the uncomfortable airline seating just make it no fun for me. I do love the Wynn or its sister, the Encore. Great hotels and the Rolex store is something to see. But for 15 hours, I would pass

2-3 days in Vegas is tops for me, unless I can get out and golf. The glitzy casinos and lifestyle are not to my liking...
