Well if the Buy it Now price doesn't give it away, then nothing else would. Why show the pic of the movement when it's so obviously NOT authentic. The hands also look short and the COSC cert is wrong, and he's erased the 'i' on Panerai on the dial, I guess to avoid it being a fake... that's just on first glance.

As always, buy the seller not the watch.

Of his 14 transactions (all buys, no sells), the most expensive thing he bought cost $0.01. Talk about a cheap way to build feedback.

Not only buy the seller, make sure the seller has a good sales rep for the kind of thing you're buying.

I bet it's a kid trying for a fast buck, thinking that dollar amount will not be subject to too much suspicion.

How about blenheimbomber who bought the watch for GBP 575 two days ago. He could have got a damn fine Seiko or Steinhart and had lots of change.

If any buyer does any amount of homework, the 'buy it now' price would be a dead giveaway. It's impossible to buy a genuine Panny for under $2500 or so.

It's the same theory as the guy who sells dollars for $0.98. He takes a loss on each one but he makes it up on volume.

Feedback is pretty much bo**ocks anyway

Hi Guys,
Lets face it eBay feedback is bo**ocks anyway.
I have well over 500 positive feedback through honest descriptions of items and honest dealings with sellers, but it still isn't worth a light as I know I haven't stitched anybody up, but I have been stitched up by sellers and haven't left any feedback as if I had left negative I would have got one in return, so how many people on there should have sh*t loads of negatives and probably have 100% positive?

Spark.

I just hate to see these scammers on eBay. What if someone who doesn't know watches bought this as a Christmas present for their watch collector friend, etc.? They are going to be out all that money for a fake watch not worth a cent.
