i think im ready to engage strapping

hi i still consider myself a noob so please bear with me. but im getting there.

so im ready to start getting into this strapping phenomenon.

what strap is best for tropical climate? i want something durable, comfortable, and nice.

for formal or casual occasions have yet to decide.

i have read about ammo straps. What is this anyway? how is it different from the calf strap that i originally got with my Pam112.

what is this waterproof strap that i heard of?

what color is good for formal, casual or both?

where can i start shopping for it?

All the Pros please help me out. Thanks!

I'm new to PAMs as well, but am I correct in assuming that the term "ammo" as used by a Paneristi refers to the type of thick, generally unlined, straps such as would be made by cutting up sections of former, or military -surplus, leather ammo pouches ?

He's the best strap maker IMHO. It's the only strap I'll buy these days. He's also the original maker who actually has the WWII AMMO strap trademarked. Anybody else that uses that term has borrowed it from Bruce.

Good luck!
