Well it looks OK has programmable control, mains only though, not sure of the original $700 price tag though.But at $199 for a triple not a bad price have a check on ebay some bargains there sometimes.

I ordered 1, for 11lbs, its pretty solid for a watch winder right?

You are kidding about the car battery right? Too early to tell if you are joking or not.

Looks like comes with just an ac adapter. Beside if I don't like it I'll just tell amazon to pick it up and take it back.

Dont forget the glass see though lid, glass is quite heavy,the main thing in any winder is the motor/motors.And how it performs and lasts and not the weight of the case.
