Does anyone know anything about the quality of these two brands?

I am currently looking at a Longines from their masters collection and a armand nicolet. Is one better then the other and what are their differences?

Thanks

You will probably get better after sales service from Longines being its done by swatch group.

I agree. Longines makes good quality watches and the after sales service would be better. Depending on what style and features you are looking for, the price difference can be pretty big.
Armand N. has some pretty classic style watches.
Both brands tend to use and modify ETA movements.
Armand N. tends to use ETA's 2824-2 movement a fair amount and as far I know it's pretty realiable.

Longines has always been a good one. My parents each have one, and the service and quality is excellent.

Agree Longines are now making some nice looking watches, but sadly not like in the 60s 70s,when they made there own very fine in-house movements. But now powered with very reliable and tested ETA movements. And there after sales are very good with good customer service.
