Question for DEEPSEA OWNERS
after looking at Tim's thread.. the amazing macro shots of his deepsea i have noticed something on the extension link..when looking at the pic u can see there is a screw and then there is two other strange looking screws like a sun shape.. when i looked at mine i didnt see that sunny shape.. just a plane look no curvy edges.. so is it because its a new clasp.. because the code on the clasp is LT and LT means year 2009 since PJ is 2008...
so i was just curious.. what do u see on ur extension link?

I got a PJ band V serial and I do see the same "sunny shape"

look carefully, the other side is different. smaller but same flower shape but very small to see..

With the naked eye, its really difficult to see the serrated edge on the screws, but if you tilt it at the right angle in some bright light you can see them.

I have a V-Serial and I have the same sunny-screws.
However, in the photos you are showing, the spaces between the actual screw and the hole it is mated too look more pronounced. Looks like dirt can actually get in there. Mine looks tighter. |

V-serial for me, same serrated edges - very difficult to see with naked eye though...
