I much prefer the Royal Oak Chronograph, the Offshores are a bit too large and i've never been a fan of the dial layout.
The AP ROC and ROO both have different movements though, the ROC has a 2385, which is a Frederic Piguet 1185 with AP modifications, which is regarded as one of the best chronograph movements on the market. The ROO uses a 2326 which is based on the JLC 899 movement with dubois depraz chrono module, again one of the best on the market.

I prefer the RO Chrono. Prefer the dial vs the Offshore. Also, too many versions of the ROO.

The thing that put me off the Offshore, apart from the size was the lack of symmetry with the dial, the sub-dials aren't spaced apart the same and having sub-dials at 6,9 and 12 have never been a favourite of mine.

I must say I am a fan of the sub dials at 6,9 & 12
Never was but then I got my IWC Ti Aquatimer Chrono and love how clean it looks especially considering it has the day and date on it. If the watch does not have a date I guess I like 3,6 & 9 BUT I much rather my watches have a date on them. I find the date between 4 & 5 a little cluttered with the subdials at 3,6 & 9 though.
