The bezel on the LV is a different size than the standard Sub, this is why if you wish to put a black insert on a Green Sub, you need to buy a black sub bezel with the insert, otherwise you will have problems.
It may be a fact that the price of the LV is more than the regular Sub, but it is an opinion and a value judgment from one person to the next as to whether that price difference is reasonable or unreasonable:) For me and the circumstances of my purchase, I was more than happy to pay the price I did for my Green Sub, as I'm sure many others may feel the same about their purchase of their Green Sub, while others may feel that they did not get value for money.

That LV minute hand is wider... Also I've heard the rotors on the LV subs are green as well.

The dealers are charging what they are because as soon as Rolex stops production on a model, their numbers dry up. But that's just supply and demand stuff...
Does anyone know if the new subs gonna have maxi-dials?

With Rolex, no predictions are possible!! As things stand at present, the sports line-up seems to be doing pretty well for itself in terms of sales! So I see no reason for Rolex to "disturb" a good thing!!

Personally, I love the current Sub line up with the standard dial and hands!!

Slim, that reminds me of the way to make a million dollars selling watches. Start with 2 million.

That really sucks, Slim. $9K is a helluva lot of money....more than enough to have bought a new TT GMT-II!!

Ouch. I blow my money on a lot of silly things (watches, guns, knives, my truck). Thankfully Vegas isn't one of them. I go there once a month for work and spend 0 time in the casinos.

My only contention is the ridiculous PRICE DIFFERENCE between the LV and the standard Sub....and what you get in return!!!

To pay so many extra $$$ for about 20 bucks worth of extra WG and a different coloured bezel...is, IMHO, still a rip off.

The new GMT-II, on the other hand, is a good buy because of the number of improvements made over the standard GMT-II. And that's what I'm talking about......value for money.

Cheers - JJ

I could get the LV for a little bit more, compared to the ss Sub,about 5 months ago.I had them in my hands and I did not even notice the differences, between dials, bezel size etc.... I guess the LV was great value for money at the time, but not what I wanted .. It is a very nice looking watch, still.

Me thinks that is quite possible, all over the world..... If an AD does that and is found out, surely they can lose the AD and become unAD ... ??
