my datejust

Its my first non sport watch and I have had it for a couple week. I think it is real nice but I like the datejust so much under my sleeves at work that I am thinking of tradeing up to a president(same size). Should I part with it?

Here is my DJ, which I inherited from my Dad.
It´s a Ref 16013 c. 1981.
Gold bezel, champagne dial with roman numerals, all steel jubilee bracelet.

update: Watch has been found, seems as I came home the other day the wife had just purchased a super fluffy robe and for some reason, I took off my watch and placed it into the side pocket of the robe as I tried it on! Man I hate CRS!

Glad you found it. Must have made for a few uneasy days, or did you forget you had misplaced it? I also suffer with crs and it's getting worse. I understand it is caused by birthday cake.

This is the one I sold and then stood in front of a butt kicking machine for three days. My new one is exactly like it so now all is good.

This was my lady DJ but I sold it after only a couple of months. Dial was too small and hard to read with all that glare... Still, I loved the design.

Okay, it's just a Date, but close enough? It was my first Rolex. Just sent it in for servicing, first time in ten years.

Just picked up my first Rolex. It has been converted from stainless to stainless and gold. The dial, bezel and band have all been customized. I can't thank Justin Valentine, purestar07@aol.com for all his help and information he provided me. He is a wealth of information and was unbelievably helpful! He went so far as to pick me up a manual and send it for free! If his help is any indication of the people on this forum than I'm definitely in the right place!
