Greetings all,

Santa made a early delivery to my house. I am now a very happy owner of a GMTIIc . The watch looks and feels great, however I can't quite fit a finger thru my wrist,..the band fits snug. How easy is it to adjust the band to allow for more space? Thank you.

There should be a half link adjustment where the bracelet meets the clasp on the 6 O'clock side, this can fold out to make the bracelet looser or in to make it tighter very easily.
There should also be a springbar holding the bracelet to the clasp which can be moved to different positions.

If all the fine adjustment is set to make it as loose as it can be then you'll need to obtain another link and put it on the 12 O'clock side, then you can tighten it with the fine adjustment.

Funny! Took me a month before I realized my GMTIIC TT even had a half link. Very observant of me! Now I switch it often as needed in a second flat!

The quick link is literally a snap to use.

If you need to let your bracelet out some more after releasing the easy link. There are 2 more detents that the springbar can be moved to.

In JJ's pic it looks like his bracelet is taken up all the way, and the easylink is released.

It would be best to use a loupe and a springbar tool to let it out. If you are careful you can use a small micro screwdriver. My wrist is 7 1/2- 7 3/4 and I let mine out to the last detent. On some days I use the easy link, and find it quite handy.

If you don't feel confident in letting it out take it to your local AD, they should be glad to adjust it for you.

I used the half link out, great feature,...as mentioned,literally a snap to use. Bracelet fits much more comfortably on the wrist now. Thanks Robert, Tristan and Don for the informative details. Awesome pics JJ, clearly showed me the way.
