GMT IIc - Bezel Insert Fallen Out & Lost

I reported this about 2 weeks ago. Glad to say that my AD sent it to Rolex and it has been replaced under warranty!
It's now back to its old self. I love it!
Happy Christmas everyone

Glad to hear all is well. Did Rolex state what happened to cause the bezel to fall out? I am curious as to how this happened.

I am very surprised that a bezel loss is covered under warranty ....a person can simply pop it off, sell it on ebay and then tell Rolex to replace it for free??? WOW, that some customer service from Rolex!!

Sounds great, now that it's all back in one piece. I'm sure you are relieved.

I too am curious as to how it could have happened. Is there an official explanation? Rolex obviously found just cause to replace it under warranty.

Happy it worked out for you...........

It's good to know that Rolex recognises that when this happens, it was because of a manufacturing issue...........

The entire insert falling out I do not believe is a warantee-able item .....unless rolex ofcourse knows about this being an issue ......I mean you can't just show up with a watch with an item missing and expect them to replace it ..... they would demand proof in return ....I think and ordinary joe shmoe would have one heck of a hard time getting an entire ceramic insert for free ......
