Cleaning my 16610

Hi Guys

Which is the best way to clean your Submariner (16610).

My AD told me that I shouldnt juse soap ore other kinds of cleaning products.

But how will I get it really clean? Just by water? I doubt it.

All advice are wellcome.
(sorry about my spelling)

The Best to you all /Adam

Shower with it and just soap it up and that's that!

Probably not the best way to do it since soap accumulates in the nooks and crannies and can acually collect dirt and grime and act as an abrasive. Like JJ said, best to use non-abrasive mild soap, water and your wife's toothbrush. I mean an old toothbrush. While off your wrist, scrub gently in all the nooks and crannies. Best done with the bracelet removed. The crevices on the clasp collect dirt like mad, so give those spots extra attention.

Adam, I use dishwashing liquid and a soft toothbrush. It really makes the stainless steel sparkle!

My father in law always asks me to clean his SS GMT 11c as he wears it 24/7 even in bed, so i clean it with a mild liquid soap and a soft toothbrush. What i think is funny, is that the only time he takes it off, is when he takes a shower !

Too funny. I do the same thing. I don't want to get soup scum on my watch.

I use an ultrasonic cleaner that gets the dirt out from in between those pesky jubilee links.
