After 8 years, its finally going to get a spa treatment

My Seiko Divers SKX007 is finally going to get its day in the spa.

I dropped it off to a local watchsmith to overhaul the movement, adjust the timing, pressure test it and replace the bezel insert (it cracked back in 2003, perhaps hitting something hard).

This watch went through many 4 ft drops on a ceramic tile floor, dropped in the bath tub when I was letting my son play with when I was giving him a bath. Yet it still kept on ticking.

In a week, I'll post pictures after it has come back from its day in the spa ;)
