Rolex OQ 17014
I am offering up for sale my beloved 17014 OQ. Reason being that I recently bought 2 new DJs and 2 jet skiis.
The History: (Although if you are looking at this watch, I assume you already know a bit about the history.) Estimated 25,000 were produced over 25 years. Those 25,000 produced included all the models sold making this a fairly rare watch. They stopped making the OQ in 2001. The movement is an 11 jewel thermo-compensated, Rolex in-house, “Quartz chronometer” certified movement. Some say one of the best quartz movements every produced by any maker. The Watch: **17014, P serial number. I have asked on forums and know the last SS OQ was produced with the K SN, but have not found anyone with a K SN 17014, which I hope make this the last SN for this particular model. **Condition is excellent, will let the pictures speak for themselves. No stretch in the band, but do not think this style of band was prone to stretch. **Includes all the goodies shown; - Original papers, chronometer certification, shown sold date of 1-17-02 - Boxes inner and outer - OQ manual - “The care of your Rolex” booklet - “Your Rolex oyster” booklet - a card from Rolex entitling you to one free battery change, open info on the back, a great collectible item with this OQ package - The hologram removed and stuck to the box (the 17014 is faded, but I know it is from this watch because I removed it myself.) - Receipt from Ben Bridge showing battery changed and pressure tested on 11-4-05 The Price: $2500 If interested please e-mail me at jmkawa@gmail.com as I will posting this on many forums, and in an effort to be fair. I will give priority to the first e-mails received at my gmail address. I am in Seattle in anyone local wants to take a look at it. Thank you everyone for looking. I am hoping I can find a good home for this watch. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/146/3...ee1f89c278.jpg |

Thanks JJ!
I will be sad to see this one go, do not know if I can ever buy it again with all the goodies in this condition. But it was next on the list of watches to be sold. |
