This is John, aka TUSCANYROSE...

Hi Friends!
I am new top this forum, but not new to the Rolex community. I have been a seller on Ebay (user ID: TUSCANYROSE) since 1999 and have made many friends along the way! I am a husband, father of a six year old boy, Brooklyn born (Jersey resident) and dealer of genuine Rolex parts and sometimes watches. I bought my first Rolex in 1997 and still have it today!
I have been banned for life for life from that other forum for a couple of years now because I dared question one of head honchos regarding Saudi dial Rolexes. Who knows, maybe one day if I grovel enough they may find it in their hearts to let me back in...NOT!!

Hopefully some of the regulars know or have done business with me and know that I am a nice guy.

If anyone ever needs help with any information or locating hard to find Rolex stuff, please email or call me. I hate playing middleman in deals so any of my contacts are open to anyone who needs.

I also love to collect any Rolex dealer displays, clocks, signs, dials, boxes, etc.

If anyone is in Central Jersey and wants to set up a play date with my Rolex stuff let me know!

Hope to be hearing from all of you!

later...

John

Hello John and welcome to TRF. You certainly sound like a good guy to know for those hard to find parts.

Now being banned from the other place puts you in star status already.

Welcome aboard John!

This place is full of good people and a little more relaxed and open than some of the more stuffy watch forums where you are questioned for even asking anything remotely off topic or something they believe you are expected to know.

I've been here since May officially and feel at home already.

I wanted to bump this thread after meeting John on 47th St. in NYC a few weeks ago.

John is quite the gentleman with extensive Rolex knowledge and a specialization in Vintage Rolex wristwatches.

He let me and my partner pick his brain for a good 30 minutes in a busy environment, which I'm grateful for. He also GAVE me a NATO strap for my current daily wearer (GMT II). He wouldn't accept money for it! Thank you again John!

I googled John, saw this thread and really wanted to add my experience.

+1 for Jon Buckley aka tuscanyrose
