Best place I have found for pen supplies of every kind.

Tryphon is the best I have found when it comes to picking up great pen polishes, sacs, and other necessities like nib flossing kits (do not use a razor blade!!!).

Good stuff.

Tryphon is well known in the pen-restoration business. It supplies almost everything you could ask for: J-bars, pressure-bars, ink-sacs, O-rings, pen-restoration tools, ink-bottles...

...It's marvellous.

But I don't go there.

If I did, I'd be buying everything...It's all so damndably tempting!!

I know exactly what you mean - I've just checked out their web-site.
Very tempting.

I have an old Sheaffer that I picked up at an antique store. Good condition, but the ink sac is dried up and in pieces rattling around in the barrel, and the clip is a bit brassy. Only paid a few dollars, but would be nice to get it writing once again. Has a nice Fine, upturned Lifetime nib.

Hey Jim,

I assume it's a lever-filler (most Sheaffers are)? If you have all the right materials, (new sac, shellac & meths, a few basic, householdy tools), then it's pretty easy to fix. I've fixed plenty of lever-fillers.
