Gasparilla (Tampa) this weekend

Greetings TRFers!

The wonderful city of Tampa is hosting the invasion of pirates this Saturday. Beads and libations will flow throughout the city. A wonderful feeling of debauchery will permeate the streets and alleys.

Come have a great time and if you're coming to Davis Islands (DI) to watch the flotilla arrive (2,000+) boats, PM me and we'll share a mug of grog together!

Arghhhhhhhhhh!

Imagine 300,000 folks descending to your neighborhood to drink and catch plastic beads!!

It's like Mardi gras but different.

Tampa is a wonderful city, lots to do. I'm hoping my daughter chooses USF over FSU for school next year. I'll have a good excuse for going to the the Lightning play.

Art, I got that impression from my neighbor who's father retired there. He went to visit him in Tampa and was covinced to take a walk along the beach with him. He told his dad and him ran into a bunch of his dad's friends and he said it was like being in the middle of a motorcycle gang, but only 25 "Larks". I should of known better then listen to that turkey!
