Carbon ink.

Has anyone tried it, I filled my MB 149 with it, the next day I had to unscrew the filler cap slightly to allow a small dribble of ink to wet the nib, same again today, this doesnt happen with MB ink, but I do love the deep black colour.

Anyone else have this problem?

Oooops! That doesn't sound good.

I would wash that pen out and go back to an ink that doesn't require this. Sounds like the MB innards isn't happy about that ink.

Dave, REMOVE that ink from your pen NOW.

Carbon ink is not meant for fountain pens and it could cause serious damage to the filling-system. Stick to approved fountain pen ink. It's there for a reason.
