New from NY!!

Hi All,

I have lurked around this forum a bit and it looks like a great community with a vast amount of information. I am actually in the market for a preowned SS Daytona. I hope to find a near mint one for a reasonable price as they are hard to come by.

Welcome to TRF. Hope you find what you are looking for. After a while you can post in the For Sale section and let people know what you are looking for. That section is also a good way of finding out how much you should expect to pay.

I am from Rockland County just north of NYC, but I work just outside of Philadelphia for Siemens Med as a consultant, so I am back in NY on weekends and out in PA for work during the week.

I do own a few other watches...

I wear a WG Croton as my daily (it has Day and Date) similar layout to the presidential; I also have an older (~70's) Omega Constellation.

Thanks! I have been lurking the For Sale section a bit and prices do seem to be very reasonable for preowned Daytona's (at least compared to Tourneau).

Thanks again for the warm welcome guys!

Well, I came across a really nice SS Daytona for a good price in the For Sale forum and I tried to PM the seller, but I don't think that it went through. Do I need a certain number of posts to be able to do this? I don't want to clutter up his thread with posts, as the correct forum etiquette in f/s threads seems to be sending PM's.
