Back-Up "Replica" to Genuine Milgauss GV
Let's say I purchase a Genuine Milgauss GV. Most everyone I know, would know I purchased it. But...there are instances where I would not want to wear the watch all the time to reduce wear and tear. Say...like working on my classic vehicle or playing high impact sports.
My question is: How many of you on here purchase replica "back-ups" to your genuine Rolex watches? Has anyone purchased a replica Milgauss GV? How is the quality? I know this may be a controversial topic but it is a legitimate question so I would hope the Mods don't delete this thread. Thanks! |

Would never own a replica. If you have the real deal why wear a fake?
The Milgauss can take the wear and tear. Every 5-7 yrs have it serviced and it looks new again. |

Why not just take off the watch when you are working on your car or playing sports. Or instead of buying a replica maybe buy the Explorer II as your more rugged Rolex. Or just buy a cheap sports watch for sports. I am an avid runner and I have a cheap Nike watch that works just fine. I would never buy a Replica. Part of the pleasure of owning a Rolex is feeling the weight on your wrist and knowing it is a Rolex.

It also puts money in the pockets of some pretty doggy pockets that are also into drugs and other trafficing. I'd NEVER support them, NEVER! Tylden.

I actually did buy a replica, not to wear, just to examine. Quality is crap and I detest supporting the industry but curiosity prevailed.
To answer your question, no I would not wear a replica wristwatch. |

This question's...odd. Why on earth would you want to wear a replica while playing high/impact sports? Good God- You know YOU own the real deal. The Rolex is the ULTIMATE sport/tool watch- it should be fine no matter whatyou do while wearing it. If you're that concerned, buy a Casio G-shock or Seiko "Monster".....those will hardly break the bank, look good, and perform remarkably well.
Also- I thought there was a "RULE" abould discussing replicas? |

The mods will not delete this thread, but it is being closed. If the OP thinks it's OK to discuss replicas here, think again. The next replica post will result in infraction points or banning.
Rick, I had to unlock the thread to post this reply. You are too quick on the trigger. It's now been closed again.
