Rolex for a Tag Heuer LOL
I was in a jewellers today and couldn't belive what I was hearing, a woman came in and said she had got a Rolex with diamonds for XMAS, but she didn't like it and wanted to trade it in for a Tag Heurer. I was laughing inside and I could see the jewellers eyes light up at the prospect of trading a Rolex for a Tag Heuer, and surely the money he would make even after paying her the difference between a used Rolex and a new Tag Heurer. I had to ask why she wanted to trade and she said it was because the Rolex was too big and she preferred Tag Heuer, all I can see is glad it wasn't me who bought her the Rolex.

Someone is going to be mad when they look at her wrist expecting to see a Rollie, and find a Tag. The jeweler is going to be eating good for the next few months!

I've been in a store when something similar happened. After I hear what the store offers the person (which is usually really low) I'll up it and hand the person my card. I then get asked to leave the store but I have purchased 2 watches this way for dirt cheap.

Some people just don't know, it's really sad. The store people get mad at me but they are the ones trying to rip people off. The last one I bought was a Tag Heuer Carrera (I know TRF doesn't like Tag but I like this watch) and the store offered the guy $500, I told him I'll give him $750 and ended up buying it for that.

Good for you. You shouldn't let those greedy jewelers have all the money. If they offered a fair price they wouldn't have anything to moan about.
