I have an opportunity to purchase a daytona at an AP for full list price, $11,520 + GST. I was wondering if there are any canadians out there that have managed to get a bit of a break on a Daytona?

Maybe there are some negotiation skills or tactics you can teach me when negotiating this deal. I have bought all my rolexes in Hong Kong so this will be my first purchase of a rolex in Canada.

Not for a Daytona, you'll get a discount on a GMT-IIc and a Deepsea as well as other models but no... not R.D.V. nor any other AD will give you a discount for a Daytona, they will sell it at full price.

Doubt it......AD's know that they will sell. You don't often see them.

I'm guessing that you are in Alberta........at least you don't have a PST....there's some savings over other provinces

I don't know if they are that hard to get in Canada? There is one at the Costco in Halifax :)
They want $14,000 for it so I suspect it is the opposite of a loss leader.

I've never seen a SS Daytona at RDV but I've also never gone in looking for one. I have seen plenty of WG beauties whilst drooling over them and other models I'll never afford lol

I know for a fact that a couple of months ago Montecristo in Downtown Vancouver were offering a small discount on the black dial SS as i asked them!
The White dial was list. I have no idea at the moment though as the Olympics are in town and there are lot's of folks about with cash!

I have seen one, going for list price, I love the dials on the WG version much more
