That's about 17 seconds a day which is a little bit too much.

Too much --especially for a COSC.

What we really need is more information....

How old is the watch?
How often do you wear it?
How often to do wind it?

Answering these would help everyone give you a more informed response.

Waaaayyyyy too much...should bring it in to RSC to check out. Or if its still under warranty, they may fix it for free.

If you wear the watch on a regular basis, and keep it wound up, no it's not normal.

If the watch is fairly new, it justs needs a regulation to get it back to spec. If the watch is 6-10 years old, it may be in need of regular service.

My 5500 Air-King was gaining 6 mins per week before my last service. It's spot on now .

If it's running consistent all you need is a regulation.

It's a TOG, purchased last month from AD, wear every day.

From the responses, I'll be calling the AD.

Thanks for everyones input.

A new TOG should be running 2 or 3 seconds +/- per day. I know that the COSC standard is an overall -4/+6, but I would find that unacceptable to me for a relatively new watch that I know can do better...

If it is still under warranty, they might need to sent it to the service center for regulation... depends on the store policy for opening up warranty issues..
