First Lume Attempt with new camera

Well, I just did this tonight. I have noooooooo idea what I'm doing yet, but still my best attempt to date. I need to play with my camera a LOT more. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It is a bit overexposed. Looks a little fake how much the dial is glowing. I think I had the shutter speed to high. I let the camera select that.

It is a Nikon D40. Cheapest DSLR you can get! But don't discount it b/c it is really all about the glass.

Nikon 50mm f/1.4G

ISO set to 1600 (I picked)
Shutter 1.6 (let the camera pic)
f1.4 (I picked)

Oh yeah, I had it setting on a box and used a remote clicker to avoid vibration.
