26 ALL the way
Nah, I don't care if 99 out of 100 people vote for the 249, I will be the 1 voting for the 26. I would hands-down take the 26. The cali don't sing to me, but the pvd destro is a beaut.
More true to the DNA of Panerai IMHO. There are also other watch brands out there that imitate the 249 (not knock-offs; I am talking about an established brand like Dievas). This watch was made as a tribute to the Kampfschwimmer or German Combat Frogmen (German, not Italian) If I see a 249, it could be a $700 Dievas... Check it out ![]() http://www.dievaswatches.com/collections/dievas/03.html Go 26! ![]() |

The 249 is one of the most seductive looking watches I have ever seen. I have yet to own one, but I would jump at the chance if presented. I wouldn't turn away a 26 either, but I don't think I could fall in love with it.

I have negotiated an 04b (near mint condition) with all original box, papers and accessories and priced right at 14,000 SGD (right at 10k USD) from the owner here, I am thinking about possibly picking it up? Opinions on the price? Thanks in advance. |

Hey there.
I have owned both 26 and 249 together. 26 gets boring rather quickly. So I sold it. 249 is still in my collection along with my 232 and 190. 249 is the winner without any hesitation. Like someone said, complete the Rad triology!!

If you MUST buy another Panerai then I voted for the 249.
But Neef, isn't one Pam enough, really? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
