Melrose Jewelers - Any good for flashy Rolexes?
Hello,
I am a watch lover and I have a small collection. I have an Omega Speedmaster Auto, Tag Heuer F1, 18K Gold GP from the 70s, and my pride and joy - a Patek 5107. The Patek was given/bought for me as a gift for working in Iraq a few years ago - I was insecurity and enjoyed the money! I was about to quite my job in Iraq when the boss told me to stay and we would by me any watch I wanted below $25,000- I ended up getting the Patek. I love the Patek but.... I am looking for something to "get" attention at times. Most of the people I mix with in America have never heard of Patek! Former girlfriends had no idea the watch was more than their car! Anyhow - I am not really a show off.... but I want a special peice for special occassions. My big money days in Iraq are well and truly over - I now work in security and the money is a fraction of Iraq days - BUT I AM ALIVE! Melrose had a nice Two Tone DateJust with diamonds for just under $3000- Not a bad price in my book. You can see it on their site - Men's Two Tone Champagne Dial Fluted Bezel Rolex Datejust (228) Opinions please. Is this a reasonable deal? Is this piece all 100% genuine? ARE THEIR ANY OTHER MELROSE CUSTOMERS HERE? |

I'll agree..
It is very unlikely that the watch advertised is "100% Rolex".. Melrose specialises in reconditioning watches and adding diamonds and aftermarket parts..
