Any ideas on pricing of the new models?

Assuming there will be an increase, but do you guys have any idea of the new list prices for the Sub and Explorer?

All I know is that due to the green gold dial the new LV should be more expensive than the new SS Sub-C. I expect the new SS Sub-C to be priced around US$7000-$7300.

If that is the case, would that mean a price rise for the GMTIIc?

GMTC II MSRP is $7,000 today...

By the time the SS Sub gets in stores (3-6 mos??) I would expect $7,500 MINIMUM. More likely closer to $8000 and NO DISCOUNTS as these will be constrained for some time to come.

Waiting lists, etc. Can anyone say, SS Daytona???

true - no discounts for atleast 6 months...In a year or so you will get them for 20% off from grey dealers...sub will be mass produced - every ad will have several...wont be the same as SS daytona

Right...the sub constraint problem will be temporary...but constrained product flow for up to 18 months. Man, that's a long time!

I would suspect a retail of $7,050.00 USD. The price difference between the 18k and ss GMT IIc and the 18k and ss SUBc is only $50.00 USD. The LV SUBc I would guess would retail $7,450.00. Typically about $400 USD more for the LV.

Most definitely yes. It's "time" for a price increase anyway, so moving GMT IIC up by 5 to 10 percent is expected. The Sub-C should match the GMT IIC price by then, and the LV should be even higher by a couple of hundred bucks.

The 116610LV is described in the press release as having a "green gold" dial material. I would expect the difference between the 116610 (Sub) and the new LV (116610LV) could be more than the usual $400.

Does Rolex wait for the new models to come out in the stores (3-6 months?)before increasing the price of existing models?
