My Daytona, accuracy after the over-haul.
I can hear everyone yelling right now: "Pictures!" "Pics, or it didn't happen" etc. Well, pics are useless because they did not polish the watch. Not to make a long story even longer... oh what the heck,
My Daytona, barely two years old purchased from an AD Never ran very accurately. It ranged from five seconds slow to 15 seconds a day fast its entire (young) life. The local watchmaker did everything he could and we adjusted it about 400 times but it never came close. Finally, as it was nearing it's two-year gurantee he suggested sending it in to Dallas RSC for a complete (early) overhaul. I've had it back about six weeks now, and watched the accuracy very closely.. in One MONTH, the watch ran LESS then EIGHT seconds slow... for the entire month! So.. eight seconds slow a month is... ( 4 quarts in a dozen, six inches in a pound.... carry the 5... ) TWO seconds a WEEK!!!!! I don't know about the rest of you... but two seconds a week fast or slow is plenty accurate for me. Nice job Dallas RSC! |

That is amazing, Paul!!!! I have to say, the accuracy of my Daytona blows me away too! I wore it recently for about 23 days straight and in all that time, it gained 5 seconds!!! Incredible!
