Hunting the New Subs 116610LN....

Monday Mar.22 - Called the AD and found out that they are closed at 6:00pm ! Thought I can beat the rush hour and still have about 45minutes to chit chat with the owner. I got as close to the AD store about one block with no trafic problem but have to wait for the construct to fix the water main break or something . Man....have wait around 30minutes ! Got to the parking now i have 10 minutes before they closed...

Good! the door is opened, got in and quickly returned the "hello" to the jewlery salesperson, then proceeding to the end of the Rolex display. I saw the owner talking with one of the jewlery lady customer at a end of the displayed case. Making eye contact, I slowly walked toward him. He saw me and he hurry wrapped up his conversation and glanced at me , then walked slowly toward me.

I started the small talks. Hi Mr. TS, you're always busy! He said, Yes. Yes . How are you Mr. Astroboy. I have no time to loose, presented him the print out of the new SS Sub. and asked him a bunch of questions very quick! He is somewhat looking "Blank!" or have no idea what I am talking about ? then, he asked his assistant Manager "We have these do we? " the assisstance said : " Oh, no not that Mr. TS. It's must be new released from Basel". and went on, "Oh, I forgot , Basel is next week, is it? " So, the manager get my name and phone number down. She said that she will check it out and get back to me soon...! I said , " Thank you, " and headed to the door since they are closing....

Sometimes one expects someone else to be "up to the minute" in a particular subject, ... and in the retail bussiness, that so often is not the case.
