V series 16600 Seadweller rare?

I'm curious whether anyone knows if its harder to find the V-series 16600 Seasweller? I recently just found one and was thinking I've only encountered one for sale by David before. Nobody else.

What do you mean by a few 100's on M serial?

Maybe I should think about purchasing that one then. What should be a reasonable price for it? Are they worth full retail now?

I have seen them also in AZ. The reality is that it is just a serial #, it does not add to value, it's just like the other thousands of them out there.

Sorry, but no modern Rolex is rare, I don't care how you slice it. I would agree that some are harder to find, but rare? No.

The serial number does add the value as that will indicate the year of production. In Thailand, the D series can't be more expensive that the M or V series. The year of preowned one wil normally shows the condition of the watch, IMO.

I agree. I don't think any modern Rolex is rare. Vintage is the way forward if you want investment pieces & even then it's a gamble.

Have to agree its only a case date stamp letter,a approximation when a case was stamped. And the SD has changed very very very little since introduction of the Cal 3135 in 1988/9 so little its hardly worth a mention. And not many Rolex from the late 1980s to present day would I consider rare in any way. .
