From what I've seen, when the in-house watchmaker adjusts the bracelet, he usually takes all the stickers off.

I'm pretty certain the stainless will resist any moisture trapped between the plastic and the steel for a VERY lengthy period of time.

My GMT II still has the stickers on the inner clasp Sure why not I will take it off in time. I also save the stickers as well.
