Hello from Vancouver, BC
Hello All,
I just discovered this forum a few days ago after it was recommended to me on a golf board. What a great site this is! I have spent some time reading the various sub-forums here and I'm having a tough time deciding if I am more impressed with the overall depth of knowledge, some of your personal collections or the photography! It is now quite apparent to me that watch photography is an art and suffice to say, some of you have mad skills! My vast collection consists of one Submariner Date 16610, which I got new a few years ago. I have since developed a real liking for Omega and am currently in the market. I have already received excellent advice from a member of this board and am looking forward to spending more time here. Regards, Owen |

Welcome Owen. I visited Vancouver two years ago, and I have to say... Its truly an amazing city. And everybody was... friendly. I have never been to anything close to a city like Vancouver.

Thanks again folks! This is a great board and it is nice to see some fellow locals!
I found this board because (of all things) I am straying from Rolex and moving toward the purchase of a couple of Omegas. I have learned a lot by reading this board over in the last couple of days, but could someone please tell me what the heck a "tool watch" is?  You guys definitely have your own jargon and I haven't quite cracked this one! |

Since you're from Vancouver and thinking of an Omega, you may want to consider the Vancounver 2010 edition of the Seamaster, with the red bezel. I like the look of that red bezel. |
