How long will RSC have my watch?
So, I've decided I'm going to send my GMT-IIc in and request a dial change.
Although my AD said it was normal, I am still seeing dimples on my GMT-IIc's circular lume markers. I'm also seeing a small triangle indentation on the 12 o'clock triangle marker and two smaller rectangle indentations on the two rectangle bas at the 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. You can't really see them in high light, like at my jeweler's shop under the case lights, but you can really see them in low-light or everyday light. Anyway, how long should I expect to be without my watch? Also, do I need to take the watch to my AD or can i send it to RSC myself? Thanks guys! |

Mine was sent to Dallas... took almost exactly 5 weeks. The good news is the thing is running INCREDIBLY accurate right now so it was definitely worth it!

Anything from a 1 week to 8 weeks it depends on work load but in general warranty work takes priority.

I sent away a ND sub for warranty work last year to RSC Dallas and it took exactly 15 business days from the day that they acknowledged receipt of the watch. I think it took 3 days registered mail to get there. So maybe a 3-4 week average?
