Lunette Noire pics
Stopped in at my neighborhood watchmaker to try this out. It went on fine... giving the Anniversary Sub a different look.
I know it's not Rolex approved, but it's definitely my watch.

Thanks Lucas.
It's a pity that Rolex won't do a bezel change for people on this watch... it could rival the SS GMTs for their versatility. Is there such a thing as a Pepsi bezel for the Submariners? Here's a before and after shot...

No worries... it's the same bezel, just swapped out the insert for now.
I saw a green one in his catalog for the GMT... that'd be weird huh? I asked him to order one up for me as well.

I am thinking about switching the Black Bezel of my Sub ND, with the Sub LV!
That would be different. A Sub ND with Green Bezel and the LV with the Black! |

I think a Sub with a green bezel AND a green dial would look great.

You need to rephrase that question, tosser: What would be right with that?

I think it'd be available from any AD, however getting them to change your LV out might be a problem as it's not a Rolex approved modification. This insert is an AM item about $20-$25. I didn't want to buy a Genuine Rolex (around $60-$70) bezel insert only to find out that I don't like it on my watch after all.

I've seen those Ebay inserts before and often wondered how they look in person. Did it fit just like the original, Ginzo?

No it did not. It was a wee bit too big. A fine file and some pliers masked off with tape got it to fit. It was good to see if I liked the look. If I had I would have got a real insert for what ever the price (within reason). |
