I normally would chose an Omega over a Rolex anyday, however that Rolex certainly appeals to me over that Omega. Go for the Rolex.

a) It's essentially a standard Speedy Pro with a couple of medallions and a fancy box. Definitely a hesalite crystal instead of a sapphire

b) The £1500 premium is unjustified (IMO)

c) It's not limited enough to justify the premium.

I might also add that in my experience, the LE has been a very slow mover. Some interest, but I think people have cottoned on to the fact it's not a great deal.

As for the Aqua Terra, I think it's a great looking watch, and at the entry price point, very reasonable on the pocket. In an ideal world, I'd take the cal. 8500 version, but for the purposes of the watches and price range on hand, the quartz fits the bill very nicely.

Hope this helps

Chris
Yes thank you for your opinion the cal.8500 a really good looking watch and affordable, I will have a look at it tomorrow in Omega store and decide.

Rolex is always better than omega by brand but for me it doesn't matter anymore since great China releases thousands of replica rolex's every day and u cant tell the difference.

it's available in two sizes, actually, with the larger being 41 mm, if i recall correctly. it's a very nice watch and was seriously considering it before deciding that only a rolex would do.

Very different watches, but this time I must say Omega, cause it is absolutely STUNNING that piece.

to be honest with you Rolex is just a famous brand buy beleive me that a good Omega watch will do the same job for a very cheap price, Rolex is too expensive like the DJ only steel watch and costs $4900 its tooooo much for a steel
