I did notice when I took my GMTIIC off and put on my LNIB Sub 16610M Series. The bracelet seemed cheap. I really think an improvement for the Sub would be Solid Links.

I can say that since getting the Sub, I haven't worn the GMT IIC but just a couple of days. And to tell you the truth I can't really say why. I like the simplicity of the Sub and the fact that the bracelet is fairly scratch resistant when compared to the Bracelet on the GMTIIC.

I don't know what the future holds for my GMT IIC but the Sub is likely to stay with me from now on. One last thing the GMT IIC is a fine looking watch and in my opinion is only beaten by the TT-GMT IIC 116713.

I guess it just boils down to what a person likes. Sometimes you really want something so bad until you get it, then it loses it's appeal. Kind of like the thrill of the hunt is greater than the kill. Does this make any sense to anyone but me?

I love my gorgeous TT GMT-IIC - got it for a very good price (as compared with what I would have paid in NZ) from a trusted TRF seller.

It's a keeper for sure!!

if you think people are selling their gmtiics now, then wait till the Pepsi ceramic shows up in basel 20XX .... the sales forum will then be flooded with them....

Mate YES!!..... there's a whole thread on this somewhere!!

But btw....
One thing that stopped me going for the current (pre-ceramic) LV was that I love the 'beefiness' of the 'super-case so much......
so My GMTIIc's going nowhere!!

I'm selling mine as between my gmt II and my sub it never stood a chance. Plus it's a bit flash for me as I prefer my watches on nato or leather straps. It's a awesome watch but IMO it would look better on someone else.

I'm not certain why either.

I sold mine a few months ago as I wanted to have two very different looking watches and the GMT IIc was simply too similar to my DSSD. It's a great looking watch and I loved the supercase, however I doubt very much I will be back in the market for one.

Maybe a lot of people bought it new and then they decided they wanted something else. Mine isn't for sale.

I just sold mine today. I'll probably miss it, but hold no regrets. I still have my "M" Pepsi to look at, which I will never sell. My kids love the blue/red bezel too much!

Mine is not for sale, BUT I REALLY WISH I BOUGHT THE OLDER ONE. Of all my Rolex watches, I like it the least. The Big case and ceramic dial don't do it for me anymore.

For every seller there is a buyer! I bought a pre-owned GMT IIc from a TRF member and could not be happier!

Because the older models look better! IMHO....unless they do some major changes to the new models...I'll never buy one....and Im sure they are about 500k+ pepsi and coke owners who feel the same way.
