Help With ID
I found this (and two others) in a box of pens while I was organizing my collection (aka cleaning). Does anyone know what it may be?
The only imprint is on the bladder lever and it reads Made in USA. Sorry for the photos, but I was only able to use my iPhone. |

It is a long shot but my guess is that it is a venus pen, the company bought out Esterbrook in the 1967 I think and then themselves were bought out by Faber Castell. At a guess I think your pen is from the late 40's early 50's... if indeed I am right on this!
This link has a venus, it is the very first in the list, does the cap look like this one? http://www.ocis.net/~hambrooq/esterbro.htm I stand to be corrected on this one though as in that age there were many pen companies about! do you have the cap with it? |
