Resale on Tudor
Anyone have any insight / comments on the ease of resale and the hit I am likely to take on a Hydronaut 2? The watch I am looking at buying is 2009 vintage BNIB and being sold at around 45% off retail. I like the look of the watch, but I am a bit fickle and tend to sell things on if I get bored with them.
I just don't want to end up with something I cant sell for near to what I paid (obviously some loss is inevitable). It will be my first modern Tudor purchase.

Vintage, "big-block" chronos appear to be appreciating steadily at this time. I would speculate any newer models may be a while before you would see any appreciation or the ability to sell in a timely manner for even 1/2 of new.

Hard to tell with the newer models. The vintage chronos and subs have been doing well. If you can get it 45% off MSRP the Hydro 2, then most if not all the initial hit in value is already gone, IMHO.

Wow 45% off retial...that is a deal. If you really like the watch then get it and not worry about selling it down the road. Good luck.

Don't buy it if you're already thinking of selling it.

From my experience I bought an explorer at gray dealer and sold it within two months took a hit of few hundred dollars.
