It will take a few more months before the entire stock of the older LV has worked it's way through the distribution network.

If it is off the website...it's done. IMHO

It will take some time for all to be shipped and bought but to me..it's done.

Funny, I just looked at it this morning (Afghanistan time- about 12 hours ago) and it was there. Read this post, checked it out, and sure enough... it is GONE!

If removed from the site, they have stopped marketing - translation- production is discontinued, distribution is limited to whatever remains in the pipeline until supply is exhausted.

The question is who will get the last one?

Over the years there have been many Rolex watches not on the Rolex web site. The non date Sub is not on web site is that discontinued too, and at one time the Explorer was not web site for many many months. But the Explorer is still with us,but perhaps now it will be only in 39mm but because its not on Rolex web don't mean its gone.

The Rolex website is just that .... A Web Site...

It is not a catalogue, or a sales outlet............... It's just a Site.. What is or isn't there doesn't have a hidden message..............

Of course, in all likelyhood, the 16610 has a very limited life expectancy.............. but it will still be available until well into the release and market date of the Sub C's..

rolex is done making 16610 LV's....shipping existing stock does not imply they are still made......

once off website it means rolex is no longer producing it as part of their product line going forward...

Right on Time?

Is that a good thing or a bad thing that the 16610LV has taken it's last bow at the Rolex website?
Owning a Rolex not in production gives the watch a certain "status" or "level"?
Give me some lights here...
I bought one last friday at the AD, and the agent told me it was a very sought after watch. I guess he was right...
Anyways its a beautiful watch under any light and I'm happy with it!

That the LV did not make an apperance this year at Bazel caught more than one person's attention. Interestingly the 14060M was on display.......
